They aim to help people who often feel alone and not part of an inclusive society to find value, self-worth and a sense of belonging, enabling them to reach their true potential.

How do they do it?


Respond to referrals seeking to provide Acts of Responsive Kindness to people in need through community projects, DIY, gardening, and provision of second-hand furniture, white goods & household items.

They seek to help people who often feel alone and not part of an inclusive society to find value, self-worth and potential employment by

  • Giving opportunities to serve on projects
  • Sharing life skills & offering practical help for applying for benefits & jobs
  • Offering practical help & support with additional needs
  • Providing a safe & welcoming place to enjoy company & find a listening ear


At Hope HQ, families and individuals who face poverty and are struggling can choose their own clothing, bedding and curtains. Families and individuals are referred to them through professional agencies.

Where do they operate?

All clients & participants of any Acts 4 Sharing project are considered by referral or application.

Bridgit is an online tool that allows people to explore free well-being, employment, finance and care advice and events, local and national support services, and training opportunities. People can also build their own ‘self-care plan’. It’s all available any time of day and without registering first.
