What can they do for you?

The food they redistribute is nutritious and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week, they provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.

How do they do it?

They offer you a membership for a small cost, which is dependent on the size of the family.

  • Single person £2.50 a week for 10 items plus fruit and veg,
  • Two-person household £3.50 a week for 15 items plus fruit and veg
  • Four-person household £5.00 per week plus fruit & veg

If you don’t attend, you do not have to pay, but you do need to be a member.

Bridgit is an online tool that allows people to explore free well-being, employment, finance and care advice and events, local and national support services, and training opportunities. People can also build their own ‘self-care plan’. It’s all available any time of day and without registering first.
