I am a young person, and I feel lonely, with no one to talk to

A campaign co-designed with young people to tackle the stigma of youth loneliness and improve mental wellbeing

What can they do for you?

A campaign co-designed with young people to tackle the stigma of youth loneliness and improve mental wellbeing.

How do they do it?

They’ve been working with young people since 2019 to tackle the stigma of youth loneliness through their youth-led behaviour change campaign. They want to help young people feel more confident talking about loneliness to improve their mental well-being and deliver on Coop’s vision of cooperating for a Fairer World.

At its peak, 25% of young people in the UK had heard about the campaign, and we now have over 300 stories and 60 messages of support on their beautiful digital universe that was co-designed with young people in 2021.

Young people have helped us achieve so much over the last five years to tackle the stigma of youth loneliness, and they want to make sure the extraordinary campaign they’ve created helps young people now and in the future.

What benefits could you experience?

If you are a lonely young person, you might be lonely, but you are not alone.
