  • For those that would like to learn more, they also offer a Level 1 Award in Horticulture, so you can earn an accredited qualification whilst helping others.

Support Information for carers

Dorset Community Action supports people in developing their skills, whether to run a community group or project, become self-employed, or set up a community enterprise through our range of training and enterprise coaching. Their experienced trainers and advisers will support you to get started, help you stay on track, and ensure that you’re making the most of the resources available to you.

Bridgit is an online tool that allows people to explore free well-being, employment, finance and care advice and events, local and national support services, and training opportunities. People can also build their own ‘self-care plan’. It’s all available any time of day and without registering first.
